Taking those first steps can be daunting, particularly if it's not something you have done before. I hope to make this process a little easier.
I offer a free, initial consultation via telephone, which usually lasts around fifteen minutes. You will have an opportunity to tell me more about what brings you to therapy, share any expectations you may have for your sessions, and ask any questions you may have about me and how I work, so you can get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you.
If you decide you would like to go ahead and start your therapy journey with me, I will email you a copy of my contract to read through before our first session. This contains all the details needed for us to have a solid foundation for working together, including directions to my office, how you can contact me, payment details, cancellation policy, what to expect during sessions and my commitment to confidentiality.
During the first session it is necessary for me to take some personal details from you, including contact details and information regarding any health conditions you may have. This information will be kept in line with the Data Protection Act (1998).
I'm based in Novus Business Centre in Peterlee, in east Durham. I also work. remotely, via Zoom and over the telephone.
Sessions are £50 per 50 minute session, payable 48 hours in advance, by bank transfer, Paypal or card.
